Emsworth Printmakers returns to Oxmarket Contemporary for its fifth annual group exhibition, from bringing together a vibrant celebration of contemporary printmaking alongside invited guest artists.

Formed during lockdown, the group began as a way for local artists to support and inspire one another when studios and workshops were closed. Many members had previously met through the Omega Printmakers workshop in Portsmouth or as exhibitors on the Emsworth Arts Trail. The group has continued to flourish and now meets regularly to share knowledge, experiment with techniques and support each other’s creative journeys.

The exhibition showcases the diverse possibilities of printmaking, including screen printing, wood engraving, lino, collagraph, etching and monoprint, alongside experimental approaches. Six invited guest artists add further variety with hand-thrown pottery and fused glass, creating a lively mix of framed and unframed original artwork, functional and decorative pieces.
