A particular inspiration for Jane in 2026 has been Gustav Holst’s The Planets and his connection to Chichester, where he is laid to rest in the Cathedral. Holst’s planets have become creative companions, influencing the colours, symbolism and stories within her work.

Jane’s artistic journey is intertwined with a lifelong fascination with Star Trek, space exploration and the spirit of discovery. Her 2026 exhibition celebrates both her 60th birthday and a new creative voyage — one that invites viewers to explore unfamiliar galaxies through her art.
