Christmas Shop at Oxmarket

Oxmarket Contemporary Christmas shop is open with a range of beautifully crafted decorations and gifts by local designers.

As Jo Shapiro, Gallery Manager explains: “ `In addition to Christmas cards, advent calendars and crackers, we’re stocking carefully chosen pieces that will make great gifts at affordable prices.  Some of our artists and makers include local artist Gemma Bedford’s beautiful digitally printed scarves of her landscape paintings, jewellers Gael Emmett, Sam English, Pippa Hufton and Moira Cooper. We will have ceramics by Jane Eastell, Lynn Nicholls, Tessa Wolfe Murray, Jess Jordan and Kate Brigden. Rosemary Eatherden will be showcasing her new Christmas inspired porcelain mugs, the ideal Christmas gift, along with many more makers and artists. There will be a selection of gorgeous artisan glass pieces from Anne Marshall and delightful stitch and embroidery kits from Corinne Lapierre. There is a good selection of affordable prints and framed artworks from local artists.

We think that many people want to give gifts that are unique and special, so we’ve chosen original pieces of art and craft that are affordable and there’s something to suit everyone’s budget. We’ve also got a range of books and stationery that make great stocking fillers.  Our shop features a Christmas Tree festooned with hand made decorations from ceramicists Lynn Nicholls, felt decorations by Chrissie Matson and gorgeous Dollypegs by Rosie Morgan’.

If you cant find the perfect gift we are now also offering Gift Cards to be spent in our shop. A lovely treat for the recipient to enjoy after Christmas.
