Oxmarket Contemporary Christmas shop is open with a range of beautifully crafted decorations and gifts by local designers.

Immerse yourself in all things Christmas by visiting our wonderful Christmas Shop at Oxmarket. By buying gifts from Oxmarket you will not only be supporting local artists and makers but also Oxmarket which is a charity committed to supporting up and coming artists in our community. In addition to Christmas cards, advent calendars and crackers, we’re stocking carefully chosen pieces that will make great gifts at affordable prices. There will be a selection of gorgeous artisan pieces hand made by local artists. These include ceramic baubles, decorations and Christmas trees by Kelly Ottesen, Lynn Nicholls and Diana Hedditch. Glass artworks and tree decorations, mistletoe, snowflakes and tealight houses twinkling in the light by Nancy Goodens, Karen Ongley-Snook and Ann Marshall. Other carefully chosen gift items are available, such as hand painted seashells by Sarah Lancashire and striking ceramic vessels in subtle hues by Neil Dewey. There will be a good selection of affordable prints and framed artworks from local artists, such as a selection of whimsical animal themed artworks by Dianna Hedditch.

We think that many people want to give gifts that are unique and special, so we’ve chosen original pieces of art and craft that are affordable and something to suit everyone’s budget. We also have a range of books and stationery that make great stocking fillers.  Our shop features a Christmas Tree festooned with hand made decorations including felt decorations by Chrissie Matson and gorgeous Dollypegs by Rosie Morgan.

We are excited to be doing a series of Creative Workshops throughout January and you can give the gift of a Workshop Voucher to a loved one. We also have Gift Cards to be spent in our shop, both options making a lovely treat for the recipient to enjoy after Christmas.

The shop will be open on Tuesday to Saturdays from 10am to 4.30pm and Sundays from noon to 4pm until December 23rd.‍ ‍We will also be open on Monday 21st of December.
